In April 2022, 皇冠体育app Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) commissioned ABI research to conduct a study into the use of 5G in Asia. 皇冠体育app objective was to better understand the impact and extent of real world deployments of 5G.

皇冠体育app report covers:

  • the impacts of 5G use cases from 156 case studies, across 10 sectors
  • the productivity, carbon reduction and safety benefits of 5G use cases
  • a cost-benefit analysis for the average large manufacturing firm upgrading to 5G

皇冠体育app report uses evidence from literature review and a series of stakeholder interviews. 皇冠体育app report was completed in December of 2022.

Since producing this report, responsibility for Digital Infrastructure has moved to the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT).
