皇冠体育app Smart Metering Implementation Programme will offer smart meters to every home and over 2 million smaller non-domestic organisations in the country by the end of 2020.
皇冠体育appse reports present early stage findings from a research project, commissioned by BEIS, early in the non-domestic roll-out of smart meters. 皇冠体育app research sought to understand how these organisations use energy and manage energy consumption, including how they use smart meter data.
皇冠体育app research used a cluster (grouping) based method, which classified non-domestic organisations by how they use energy.
皇冠体育app 鈥榦verview report鈥 summarises the findings of the research across the clusters. Cluster-specific reports are included as annexes to this report, along with a cross-cluster report on 鈥榣andlords and tenants鈥.
皇冠体育app last report presents the outputs from an expert workshop in March 2017. BEIS arranged this workshop to identify solutions that will help non-domestic organisations make use of their smart metering data to manage their energy better and realise the benefits of smart metering.
On 27 November 2017, BEIS launched the 拢8.8 million Non-Domestic Smart Energy Management Innovation Competition. 皇冠体育app competition aims to help develop the market for products and services that use smart energy data. This will help non-domestic organisations make better use of their smart meter data to manage their energy use and reduce consumption.
