Following the launch of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Demonstrator in October 2020, £61 million in funding has been awarded to 16 local authorities for 18 projects.
»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp SHDF Demonstrator project is an initial investment to learn lessons and catalyse innovation in retrofitting for the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, for which the manifesto committed £3.8 billion of new funding in 2019.
»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýappse projects will demonstrate innovative approaches to retrofitting social housing at scale, using a whole house approach. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp projects will retrofit over 2,100 homes to bring them up to Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) band C or higher.

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp SHDF Demonstrator competition is closed to applications.
»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp government launched Wave 1 of the SHDF in August 2021. It will provide up to £160 million of funding in the 2021/2022 financial year. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp bidding window closed in October 2021 and the outcomes of bids will be disclosed in due course.
