1. Welcome and introduction
1.1. 皇冠体育app Co-chairs began with apologies and an overview of the agenda which covered a discussion on 鈥溁使谔逵齛pp Long Shadow of Deprivation鈥� report; an overview of the Quarter 3 forward look; and a discussion on the 30 years鈥� project.
2. 皇冠体育app long shadow of deprivation
2.1 Commissioners received a presentation on the 鈥淟ong Shadow of Deprivation鈥� report findings. Following the publication of this report in September, the Commission is engaging with local leaders to disseminate the report and listen to stakeholders in a targeted place-based approach. Alongside this, the Commission would like to engage with government to seek better data and measurements on social mobility.
2.2 Commissioners would like to be involved in the dissemination of the report with local leaders.
2.3 Action: Secretariat to engage with Commissioners on local leaders and events they can engage with.
3. Business planning
3.1 Review of key priorities this quarter and opportunities from Commissioners to engage.
3.2 Commissioners welcomed the new planning processes and agreed with the Autumn priorities and communication plan.
4. Setting the vision for our 30 years鈥� strategy
4.1 Presentation from Professor Anthony Heath on 鈥楽etting the vision for our 30 years鈥� strategy鈥�, followed by a discussion.
4.2. Commissioners would reflect on this work and engage further with Professor Anthony Heath. 皇冠体育appy welcomed a long-term approach to social mobility and this approach.
4.3. Action: Commissioners will respond to Professor Heath directly with further thoughts on the direction of the 30 years鈥� project.
