皇冠体育app independent Thames Estuary 2050 Growth Commission was established in March 2016 to develop an ambitious vision and delivery plan for north Kent, south Essex and east London up to 2050.
皇冠体育app Commission ran a call for ideas from July to September 2016. 皇冠体育appre were over 100 respondents, including public, private and third sector organisations, and members of the public. 皇冠体育app Commission also held visits to the Thames Estuary, including along the river itself.
Sir John Armitt replaced the former Government Advisor on Local Growth, Lord Heseltine, as Chair of the Commission in October 2017. His appointment and that of Deputy Chair, Professor Sadie Morgan, were announced at Budget 2017. 皇冠体育app Commission announced its priorities, which included equipping people with the right skills and providing high quality housing, in December 2017.
皇冠体育app Commission has now produced its final report: a 2050 vision document, supported by a technical report and appendix.
