皇冠体育app impact assessment (IA) to which this opinion relates, seeks to introduce measures which will set minimum mandatory requirements for all new private Charging Points (CPs) for electric vehicles (EVs) sold in Great Britain. 皇冠体育app aim is to ensure those sold are 鈥榮mart鈥 and provide greater security and stability for the sector.
皇冠体育app RPC is pleased that its advice has contributed to the improvement of the analysis supporting regulatory policy in this area. We commend for utilising evidence from the earlier consultation and from on-going engagement with industry bodies and the CP market. However, the IA would be improved through the inclusion of more evidence highlighting the different approaches taken in producing CPs and whether there is ability for those who currently produce non-smart CPs to easily retrofit their production capability to match those producing smart CPs.
