»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp regulations change the period of time for which a person who is absent from Great Britain can remain entitled to Housing Benefit and State Pension Credit. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýappy come into force from 28 July 2016.

In general, this period will be 4 weeks rather than the current 13 weeks. Ministers have decided that, in specific circumstances, the allowable period can be longer than 4 weeks and have given further consideration to this in light of the Social Security Advisory Committee’s (SSAC’s) report.
