HMRC commissioned this research to:

  • understand whether there is any friction in the tax system which could potentially create barriers to the growth of the 鈥榰pper end鈥� of small and mid-size businesses
  • identify opportunities to design and deliver growth support in a customer-focused way throughout the business鈥檚 growth journey
  • provide insights that can be used to improve the content and targeting of material to increase businesses鈥� awareness of the support, reliefs and incentives available to facilitate growth

皇冠体育app research was undertaken and the report written, in 2017, under the previous Government鈥檚 administration of the tax system.
