皇冠体育app Urgent Notification process allows Her Majesty鈥檚 Chief Inspector of Prisons to directly alert the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice if he has an urgent and significant concern about the performance of a prison.

皇冠体育app Secretary of State will then publish his response and a plan of action within 28 days. 皇冠体育appre will then be a longer term plan for sustained improvement.

Both the Chief Inspector鈥檚 letter to the Secretary of State, and the Secretary of State鈥檚 response, will be published on GOV.UK.
