In June 2011 the Cabinet Office issued new guidance on the review process for all non-departmental public bodies (NDBPs). 皇冠体育app War Pensions Committees are established as NDBPs and the Veterans Advisory and Pensions Committees (VAPCs) pilot have been administered as such. New Cabinet Office guidance requires all NDPBs to undergo triennial reviews.

A review of corporate governance arrangements has also been conducted and confirms that the VAPCs meet best practice.
