A trailblazer devolution deal with West Midlands was agreed at Spring Budget 2023.

A second devolution deal with the West Midlands was agreed at the Autumn Budget 2017

皇冠体育app Chancellor and the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills visited Coventry on 17 November 2015 to confirm the West Midlands Combined Authority devolution agreement.
