This Statistical Notice advises users of proposed changes to future:

  • Households Below Average Income (HBAI)
  • Family Resources Survey (FRS)
  • Pensioners鈥� Income Series (PI)
  • Income-related benefits: estimates of take-up data and publications

皇冠体育appse changes will take effect for the 2014/15 publications, provisionally due at May/June 2016.

皇冠体育appre are 2 changes being made. 皇冠体育app first change is that variants of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) will replace the use of the Retail Prices Index (RPI) in the HBAI, PI and FRS publication. This is in line with guidance from the UK Statistics Authority and National Statistician.

皇冠体育app second change is that, in line with new standard DWP Statistics reporting practices, we will produce significantly shorter publications for 2014/15. This will enable a focus on commentary and analysis that aid interpretation. All existing publication tables will continue to be available online.
