Change in publication frequency
From April 2017, the Justice Data Lab will publish its reports on a quarterly basis, following a public consultation, with the next publication due on 13 July 2017.
Key findings this quarter
Two requests are being published this quarter: Brighton Women鈥檚 Centre鈥檚 Inspire Programme and St Giles Trust Cymru鈥檚 Resettlement Service.
Brighton Women鈥檚 Centre
皇冠体育app Inspire programme offered by Brighton Women鈥檚 Centre supports women with multiple vulnerabilities at all stages of involvement in the criminal justice system. Women who come to Inspire receive trauma informed, bespoke, integrated case work support from a multi-agency team.
皇冠体育app overall results show that those who received support had a lower frequency of reoffending than those who did not. More people would need to be analysed to determine the way in which the programme affects the 1 year reoffending rate, but this should not be taken to mean that the programme fails to affect it.
St Giles Trust Cymru鈥檚 Resettlement Service
St Giles Trust Cymru worked in conjunction with HMP Cardiff to help serving prisoners and ex-offenders returning to Cardiff or the surrounding area resettle via the Through the Gates Resettlement Service.
皇冠体育app overall results show that more people would need to be analysed to determine the way in which the programme affects a person鈥檚 reoffending behaviour, but this should not be taken to mean that the programme fails to affect it.
皇冠体育app bulletin is produced and handled by the Ministry鈥檚 analytical professionals and production staff. Pre-release access of up to 24 hours is granted to the following persons: Ministry of Justice Secretary of State, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State - Minister for Prisons and Probation, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State - Minister for Youth Justice, Victims, Female Offenders and Offender Health, Permanent Secretary, Director General of Prisons, Offender and Youth Justice Policy, Chief Financial Officer, 11 Policy and Analytical Advisers for reducing re-offending and rehabilitation policy, 1 special advisor, 2 press officers, and 5 private secretaries.
皇冠体育app report is released by the Ministry of Justice and produced in accordance with arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.
