  • Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
  • Methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA)
  • Escherichia coli (E. coli)
  • Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa)
  • Klebsiella species (Klebsiella spp.) bacteraemia
  • Clostridium difficile (C. difficile) infection

皇冠体育appse were reported to the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), previously Public Health England.

Mortality information was obtained by linking the mandatory surveillance data to NHS demographic records.

皇冠体育app number of infections, deaths and case mortality rate is presented nationally by year and further by NHS region, age, and gender by year.

皇冠体育app Office for National Statistics (ONS) has previously published data on deaths involving MRSA and C. difficile. 皇冠体育app ONS data is not comparable to the data published here by UKHSA due to differences in the geography, time period, and source of death information used.
