Monitor your school attendance

Schools, academy trusts and local authorities can access the Monitor your school attendance tool. This is available on the service.

皇冠体育app tool includes interactive dashboards and downloads for the daily attendance data your school shares with the Department for Education (DfE).

How to get access

You will need to request access to VYED and the Monitor your school attendance data tool using your DfE Sign-in account.

If you do not have a DfE sign-in account

You will need to first.

It will ask you to request access to your organisation. This is your school, trust or local authority.

Once you鈥檝e sent your request, your organisations approver will get an email. 皇冠体育appy will need to approve your request before you can get access to your attendance data.

Request access to the Monitor your school attendance tool

To access your school attendance data request access:

1. Log in to .
2. Go to 鈥榮ervices鈥� and 鈥榬equest access to a service鈥�.
3. Select your organisation.
4. Request access to 鈥�VYED鈥� then the sub-service 鈥楳onitor your school attendance鈥�.

This sends an email request to your organisations approver. You should receive an email within 5 days from [email protected] confirming approval.

If there are no approvers for your organisation, your request will be sent to the DfE Sign-in team to be approved.

After you request access

Once you request access, an email is sent to your organisation鈥檚 approver. You will get an email once they have approved the request. This will confirm you have access.

You can check the status of a request under the 鈥楻equests鈥� section of your DfE Sign-in account.

Different types of access for trusts

Trusts can get access to the trust and school versions of the tool.

Before you can request access to school dashboard, you will need to add the relevant school organisation via your DfE Sign-in account. Once approved, you can request to add services for that school.聽
