1. Choose an NPQ

If you鈥檙e employed, talk to your employer. You may need their approval to take an鈥�NPQ. 皇冠体育appy may be able to help you choose a course that鈥檚 suitable for you and your workplace.听

Some courses have specific eligibility requirements, so check you鈥檙e eligible before you register.听

2. Check if you can get funding听

Teachers and schools leaders in many state-funded settings in England will be eligible for听funding听to cover their听NPQ听course fees, subject to eligibility criteria.

Eligibility for funding does not guarantee a place on a funded NPQ course.

3. Find an NPQ course provider听

If you鈥檙e employed, ask your workplace if they already work with a particular course provider.听

You can also contact providers directly. Select your course to find out which providers offer the NPQ:

4. Register with鈥痶he Department for Education (DfE)听

You need to鈥�鈥痜or your NPQ鈥痮r early headship coaching offer, even if you鈥檙e not eligible for scholarship funding.听

5. Apply through your provider听

6. Start your NPQ听

Once you鈥檝e applied, your provider will confirm whether you have a place on the course and will give you the start date if you鈥檝e been accepted.听
