Welsh is an official language in the United Kingdom. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp Welsh Language Act 1993provides that Welsh speakers may speak that language in legal proceedings. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp Act alsoimposes a duty on public bodies to present statutory forms in Welsh.
In addition the Magistrates' Court (Welsh Forms) Rules 1986 provide for the use of Welshlanguage forms in summary proceedings. If a debtor requests them at any stage in theproceedings, you should request a Welsh language version of the form by memo from
