Abstract

This paper provides the results from an application of stated preference methods to estimate households鈥� preference for improved electricity supply in major cities of Ethiopia. 皇冠体育app authors present results from the contingent valuation method that shows households鈥� willingness to pay for improved electricity supply. 皇冠体育app discrete choice experiment allows examination of the value that urban Ethiopian households attach to changes in the various attributes of outages. Finally, the policy implications of the findings of the study are discussed
