Lesson Learning Report: Economic Empowerment of Jumiya people through Medicinal Plant Cultivation

Abstract

皇冠体育app project Economic Empowerment of Jumiya People through Medicinal Plant Cultivation (EEJMP) was selected as part of the Innovation Fund Round Four projects of the Economic Empowerment of the Poorest (EEP)/Shiree programme. 皇冠体育app project aimed to lift 750 indigenous households in Bandarban Hill district out of extreme poverty, in line with EEP/Shiree programme approach to lift one million people out of extreme poverty. 皇冠体育app main purpose of this Lesson Learning Report is to identify key factors contributing to performance and to summarise lessons learnt throughout the project. 皇冠体育app data collection was conducted through review of project documents, purposively selected key informant interviews (KIIs) with stakeholders, site visits and observations, independent endline survey, semi-structured focus group discussions (FGDs), case studies collection and life history collection. This triangulation of data ensures that consistent findings are supported by credible evidence.
