Abstract

Because of its geography and location, the Philippines is at high risk from rising sea levels and from a projected increase in severe tropical storms; 70% of its cities and towns are on the coast. 皇冠体育app vulnerability of its population to climate change is exacerbated, not only by high poverty levels, but also by the negative environmental and social impacts of the country鈥檚 large natural resource extraction industries.
