Abstract

皇冠体育app paper incorporates observations made by the authors during fieldwork in Tacloban, Palo and Tanauan over a number of months in July/August 2014, late 2015 and early 2016. This paper addresses the logistical issues of conducting fieldwork as opposed to actual findings. 皇冠体育appy hope that an explanation of our experiences in the field will help other researchers to plan their budgets, configure appropriate research teams and consider issues that could distort the data that they gather. 皇冠体育appir fieldwork is still in progress and these observations are preliminary.

This work is part of 鈥 Poverty Alleviation in the Wake of Typhoon Yolanda鈥 project supported by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the UK Department for International Development.
